- Norton 360 does not have all the features of Norton System Works.
It has some of the features of Norton System Works.
Norton 360 has PC tuneup feature which works as one button check up and has
disk defragmentation feature which works as wipe info.Other features of Norton
System Works are not available in Norton 360.
NSW has various features that can optimize your system with the help of various
utilities like Norton System Doctor, Norton WinDoctor, Speed Disk, CleanUp
etc.
Norton 360 is not compatible with Norton System Works (NSW) and you cannot
install any of the features of NSW along with Norton 360.
If you wish, you can install the standalone product of Ghost or GoBack along
with Norton 360.
- SONAR is the abbreviation for Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response,
a security program developed by the company (Norton). To determine whether
an application will be a malicious program, SONAR analyzes its behavior rather
than detecting viruses. Norton 360 - popup window message: "SomeDangerousSiteName.com
is tracking you right now ... And it's not the only one. There are 119 trackers
collecting your browsing data...."

- Norton 360 has two ad-related settings you can control.
- To turn off Ad Tracker Blocking:
- Open Norton 360.
- Click "Privacy" on the left side of the dashboard.
- Under Secure VPN, click "0pen".
- Click the "Ad Tracker Blocking" tab.
- Move the slider to disable "Block Ad Trackers when VPN
is on".
- To turn off Norton Task Notifications: (Note: These options do
not appear in my version of Norton360)
- Open your Norton product. If you see the My Norton window,
click "Open" next to Device Security.
- Click "Settings".
- Click "Administrative Settings".
- In the Norton Task Notification row, move the On/Off switch
to "Off".
- Click "Apply", then "Close".
- These steps work on Windows 10 or 11.

- First, under 'Administrative Settings', turn OFF 'Norton Task
Notification' and 'Special Offer Notification'. Then, in CLASSIC
mode, click on the magnifying glass in the upper right. Type 'NOTIFICATION'.
